The new Panasonic BD50/55 will decode and send them to your pre-amp/receiver as LPCM. I'm sure other players do the same as well...since most people would not have HDMI bistream capabilities. I happen to have an Integra 9.8...
This is not true. There are plenty of players that will decode DTS-MA/TrueHD and output LPCM via 7.1 RCA cables to a receiver.
If you want to bitstream hi def audio codec's to a receiver, then HDMI is the only way to go You can get LPCM over HDMI as well.
I have and I like it. I came from a 2405 so its a huge improvement to me. I use it with a Macbook Pro and a PS3. I do not notice any input lag nor am I an "competitive" gamer. I did not notice any input lag on the 2405 either.
The touch sensitive buttons suck. It works most of the time...
Has anybody hooked this up to a macbook pro via DVI->HDMI cable? I am currently using a Dell 2405 and I am sitting about 2.5' away. Is this too close? Will I see pixels?
Also, I think its input 6, has the audio inputs as well so I can play sounds from the laptop, correct?

Looking through all the threads, it seems that all monitors have issues of one kind or another.
