Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
No, it will not be a dud for overclocking. The way Nvidia binned these chips was to increase the vdd up to whatever voltage was required to meet these clock speeds. I have two 470's from EVGA, one has a vdd of 0.97 and the other is 1.03. They both run 100% stable overclocked.

The only thing that matters in a loop setup is that you have the res right before the pumps. Other than that the order doesn't matter. The water is moving so fast, and changes temperature so slowly, that the difference in input and output water temperature on either side of the blocks, or...
The MCR320 is fine for 2x470. I have one with 3 yate loon medium fans, a MCP355 pump and Koolance vid-nx470 blocks. The cards are running an OC of 1.075V and 800MHz, and under Kombuster sit around 65C. Gaming they don't get above 55C, in a room at 26C. Idle around 30C.
I really hope it was off and unplugged when you emptied your loop onto it. ;)
Dab up as much of the water as you can with a towel. Use compressed air to blow out any remaining water from the pci connectors, power connectors, underneath heat sinks, between components, etc. Then set it in...
I have almost the exact same loop setup as you, minus the fill port and drain port. Here is what I did to remove the air from my loop.
First, make sure you have unplugged your system power supply cable. Then I removed the reservoir from the case and then placed the reservoir on top of the...

You power supply is right on the edge. Anandtech just posted a 470 SLI review:

They show a 740W system load when running Furmark, and less when running Crysis. If you push the OC higher with the water cooling, your...
