    the 6800nu

    i think bfg nu's come with 2.2ns ram... i had two of them once and both had 2.2ns ram. but they don't clock up to 900mhz tho =\... thru coolbits they detected at best to do 800mhz. but i was able to run 3dmark03 with no artifacting at 875mhz...

    i don't know y anyone says it's higher quality, i don't think these cards are even made in the usa lol... look on the card... they're made in china... and everything about them looks like the chaintech card to me hehe~ anyway i think it's becuz of the customer service and lifetime warranty...

    hmmm try loading fail safe defaults in bios and see if that helps. if it does it's obviously one of the options in there thas messing the card up since after installing the drivers the problems occur... try disabling fastwrites and if u could sideband addresss... thas my guess~... if all...

    overclocking 6800nu ram

    it's a bfg geforce 6800oc stock at 350/700... leadtek cards come with 2.8ns ram but i've seen most people getting mid 800's on their overclocks (2.8ns = 700mhz)

    on my bfg 6800 it says it uses hynix 2.2ns ram... from my understanding isn't 2.2ns = 900mhz? how come i can't get it to run anywhere close to 900mhz right now? aren't i still trying to run it within spec? i remember my fx5900 also had the same ram and it ran at like 960mhz. on my 6800 it's only...

    wut he's saying is that it's 91C underload and 69C idle... i think 91 is definitely too hot. does it show signs of instability? i only have a 6800nu so i can't realli give you much input... y don't people properly read posts before posting... <grumbles>

    weird 6800 problem

    i recently picked up a BFG 6800 OC. i had no installation problems. installed the 71.20 drivers and downloaded rivatuner 15.3 to see if the extra pipelines and vertex engine can be unlocked. apparently it had no problems running 16x1, 6v as it scored 4029 in 3dmark 2005. i also ran the nalu demo...
