Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I might as well update this and I'm bumping this up again. I have reworked the frame, put on the front skins, finished the framework on the new head also. So far it has come out great!
Here is the new body:
And the new framework on the new head:
I figured that I might as well finish...
Again at the mod again, I had a minor set back on the mod.
The frame wasn't going as well as planned, I needed to lighten the frame, so I was able to join the astromech club site that builds the astromech droids and was able to find the templates for a newer frame made of plywood instead of...
Thanks for the comment, but for now I have to put this mod on hold for awhile.
Sorry for not updating this lately, I was out of the country for 2 months from November to December. I was in Taiwan getting my wife ready to come to the US.
I was here before under another username: scorpionjwp
I went to a place to the middle of nowhere, I built an Ark of sorts, but no matter where I go, I fold for 1 thing, the cure. It doesn't matter where I fold or what team I fold for, I battle a beast that kills people with cancer, some...
Hi and welcome to another round of updates tonight.
Some of you may be wondering how did I stealth the tubing in the legs and the fan cable in the legs?
I worked more on the front of the mod, placed a 4-port usb hub in the first bay, second external bay will a dvd burner. I have still yet to...
On the first box, no I have no exhaust holes on the box, I built it quick and I will redo it with a mesh on the front.
First box I slapped together, No exhaust holes
What both boxes should look like, showing air flow example:
Thanks for looking?!
I have assembled one of the legs and still have some minor details left on it. I have yet to start assembling the other leg, but here is what I have for an update.
More updates till later...
Ahh! why thanks!
Here is an update:
I went around looking at this mod scratching my head asking myself what have I gotten wrong. The wrong is that this mod is starting to look just about every other astromech droid that the astromech builders club is building.
So I needed to balance the look...
It's now listed on Ultra's website:
http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_details.php?cPath=13&pPath=696&productID=696
At $999.99 they can keep it too, I ain't spending that much on a case.
Thanks!
I had to redo the neck section with something that looks like the R5 astromech neck piece. I repainted the lower body section also.
Most of the colored panels were mounted by 2 sided foam tape.

I'll update in a few days also.
Don't worry the [H]ark has been rebuilt in some sort of a way, but it's not called [H]ark anymore.
I'm not folding on the toughbook either, I have a quad core to do that on.
Here I am again, back after 2 years and still working on this mod on end. That I have decided to give some new life of a mod that I started here on 10-25-2006.
