I am honestly unsure... but it used to ramp up to at least 1800 or so, perhaps it was a flaw with the asus software which cause overpower to the fan, causing it to run over capacity, and thus killing it? *shrug*
Edit: I have figured out the issue. The new issue is that my silly fan still maxes at 100% being 1200 RPM which leads me to believe the fan itself is dying. Fortunately even if its a cpu issue my new CPU fan has a fan speed remote to control it directly! :)

Well now I just feel silly!! My stock fan seems to have taken a dump on me so I have been paying close attention to well.... everything. As such I just noticed it. I have a new after market fan, thermal paste, and a 200mm fan inbound for monday so hopefully everything will be A ok in the end...
I am experiencing an issue on my desktop PC where two different programs (Asus AI suite and AMD Overdrive) are both showing my CPU voltage skipping between around 1.46v to 1.27v. Additionally, AMD Overdrive shows my CPU core multiplier going between 16x and 4x. What could be causing this and...
