This may have nothing to do with WoW but it does have to do with female characters.
Years ago when Lego Star Wars came out on the original XBox my then very young son wouldn't play female characters. He made me play them. Through the years I'd just automatically pick the female character when...
What a joke. Cable companies have tiers for two reasons. The government forces a basic tier so people who have bad OTA reception have a cheap option. Then cable companies need to pay for most channels they rebroadcast. They have to decide what people will pay for and how much they will pay to...
Has anyone found a site that compares a 700MHz GT to a 650 GTS when driving a 1920x1200 display?
There is only about a $20 to $40 difference for these two cards. so a 12% fps improvement would be worth it.
They passed the ATTO test and error scan. I also copied about 100GB of photos to it and have looked a about 150 photos from various directories and they all have displayed fine. I did some video editing (miniDV capture too) and mastered a DVD. But that does not prove these drive work in a raid...
My understanding is that if a WD 1TB GP drive develops a bad sector, the firmware (FW) on the drive will try to move it. Moving the sector takes time, but is often very quick (i.e. seconds). However, under certain conditions it might take longer to recover the data from the sector (FW might have...

Because it sounds like this data is very important and worth some $$, i'm going against what others are saying.
If she currently has 1TB of files and can reasonably expect to need 1.5 TB soon (1 to 1.5 yrs), I would go RAID 5. It sucks to get data off of backup. But it doesn't appear that...
You might try:
1) Removing all other HD's in the system and then see what the BIOS says.
2) Try different SATA connectors on the MB.
3) Look for a new BIOS upgrade and or reset the current one.
BTW, my DFI nf4 ultra-d recognizes the size of these drives.
I was wondering if you went with a P35 MB and what kind of performance you're getting out of the LSI 8308ELP. I looked up the spec of the P35 chipset and it gets the second PCI-e x4 from the ICH not the MCH. Are you getting the performance you expected?
