Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Is it bad to run 4, 500 GB HDDs off of one power cable?
Also, is it bad to run four 12" cold cathodes and four 4" cold cathodes off of a single power cable?
I have a Corsair 620hx (620watt) Power supply.
I don't want to over draw a single cable that could cause damage.
Shipping is a lot of $ to get it repaired. Is there anything I can do? I don't see why it does it some times and sometimes it doesn't. Could it be a power issue? I do have it plugged into a brand new 1300 VA APC battery backup. Shouldn't that sorta filter out any power noise?
Hello. I have a HP A7217A (rebranded sony FW900).
I have a couple problems that I have been having from the start of getting my CRT off of ebay for $250 shipped.
First of all (and what bothers me and conserns me the most) is that sometimes (not all the time) my whole monitor's picture...
If i was connecting it to a 17" CRT I wouldn't be so hesitant to buy a cable. However I am connecting it to a 24" CRT that maxes out at 2304 x 1440 w/ 80hz. I will need a well shielded cable for it so I don't get ghosting/fuzziness when I crank it up.
Does anyone, by experience, know of...
Thanks for your reply. I was looking at high quality DVI to VGA cables and they would be about the same as a high quality DVI to RCA cable. I might as well get a high quality DVI to BNC.
