    I did nothing of major importance, installed ACDsee and changed the screen saver. I'm wondering if this is the defrag process just starting on a weekly basis because I just built this machine last week. I'm giving the 10 TB drive some time to "Defrag" and make noise if that's what it is...

    When I look at the task manager the system is taxing the disk @ 50% / 2.5 - 5 MB/s and the CPU @ 13% - 14%. Same, I move the mouse and it goes away. Could it be the automatic defrag service? Disk Defrag is running high at this time I well I have now noticed.

    I'll check although it is literally 3 minutes on the nuts its starts and moving the mouse makes it go away so it makes me think something software related is causing this.
