None taken. This is my first try at overclocking and thought I'd play it safe for a while before pushing. And from what I've read I'm not going to hit 2000 fsb with air cooling and I don't plan on doing any watercooling with the setup. I'm happy. I've gotten my $310 CPU over the stock speed...
I've learned that I don't need to have the FSB or CPU voltage nearly as high as what you have listed. I'm running my E6600 in an EVGA 680i board at 3.1Ghz (1378) and I have the FSB at 1.30v and the CPU is 1.275v running very stable with idle temps at 32-34c and load 44-48c.
If you're one of the lucky ones your CPU might be able to hit 400+ with water cooling and DDR2-1066, but not every CPU can hit the higher speeds even with water cooling and faster RAM.
I'm not sure what you mean (the tray doesn't come out of the case). The cooler mounts with a back plate on the board, so I have to take the board out to mount the cooler. The cooler hit the case, needing to go over another 1/3 to 1/2 inch before the mounting holes line up. Maybe I'm being a...
So you are able to fit the TT120 in a Lian Li PC-V1000B PLUS II case? I have a Lian Li PC-V1200A PLUS II and an evga 680i MB and my TT120 will not fit in the case, it hits the wall dividing the area where the PSU is mounted long before I get the mother board back to where it needs to be to...
My stock voltage is 1.18 so yes, I believe that is right.
I bumped the core voltage to 1.275 and I'm testing in out with Orthos right now at 2.75GHz (1224 fsb) to make sure it's stable. I've read that people can get 3.0GHz with a 6600 at 1.275 voltage without any stability issues, though...
What case are you using with the Tuniq? I have a Lian Li 1200APlus II and after mounting the TT120 on the board it can't be mounted in this case, the cooler hits the wall where the PSU is mounted. :(
I bought a TT120 and it won't fit in the Lian Li V1200APlus II case I built my new system in. It hits the wall that divides the PSU from the motherboards area.

I have an E6600 in a evga 680i board with the stock cooler and my idle temp is 41-42c and load is 52-54c Most likely the damn cooler isn't down right. My first attempt at installing the cooler on this board was giving me temps in the 55c idle 69-72c load. One side was still up. Once I got in...
