Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I doubt I will be going dual card but if the 4870 provides good performance at a price point that I can afford and is not uncomfortably loud, then I would be happy. I was not impressed
with GTX 280, maybe when it get's shifted to 55nm it will be a winner.
Well rumour has it that GTX 260 will drop in price to compete better ...
I hope that the GDDR5 does'nt cause any more delays for 4870.
I will be upgrading my X1950 pro, GTX 260 is still to loud and pricey for me.
I will be looking at the best I can get around $300 so most likely 4870/50.
Also I'd prefer something thats not too loud ... I will not be able to live with the stock 260/280 noise level.
