Hi,
I would like your opinions on three laptops. Cheap Gaming Laptop is the main theme here. All have the same specs:
Processor: Intel Core i5-6300HQ
Memory: 8GB
Graphics adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M
Display: 15.6 inch 16:9, 1920x1080 pixel, IPS
Similar price
Lenovo Y700
Lenovo Ideapad...
This looks awesome.
Now should I wait for a 32"+ or buy this ;)
But a UHD for that price, with those specs, from NEC... Cant wait to test it out.
Used EIZO EV3237 (more than twice the price in my country, was good but too expensive for my taste) and on paper - the NEC looks a lot better.
Hi all...
Question mainly for users of the Dell u2515h, but also anyone who jumped from 1080p to 1440p.
How much of a hit did your PC get when jumping to QHD resolution?
I want to jump to QHD for a nicer work experiance - mainly graphic design, illustration and webdesign.
But I like to play...
So basically - no way to get a good monitor, deal with it? Why the hell people work on 3D displays, 4k ect. if we cant get the basic ones right :P
More siriously: Now Im torn between buying a more expensive IPS monitor (EV2455 probobly) or getting something with AMVA+ (I like my PVA Eizo...
The other thing I dont get is that eizo used to make awesome PVA monitors. My L768, even with 20 000+ hours of work, still has a great picture, awesome colors and really wide viewing angles...Yet Eizo stopped making monitors with that kind of panel.
Why are we not funding this?!
It just slips my comprehension... in 8 years since my Samsung T220 the only thing we gained are viewing angles... at the cost of that bleeding black and a couple of more IPS drawback.
Now most of you mentioned colors on IPS panels and that they are better than TN and VA. That is really not my...
Hi there.
Quick story: after some searching I bought a LG 24mb56hq. According to a review on prad.de (http://www.prad.de/new/monitore/test...4mb56hq-b.html) this should be a good low-end monitor. Nothing fancy, just a everyday use monitor, for internet, movies, a little gaming.
Now, I...
Oh, crap...Now I see I posted this in the wrong subforum!
Sorry for that, must have been a missclick.
If any moderator would delete this thread, I would be gratefull.
Its hard to imagine that for anyone that trade off seems like a good deal. Maybe for people watching movies in groups (becouse when Im alone, I dont care about the viewing angles, I sit in front of the monitor).
If I didnt have my old monitors right beside each other, maybe this wouldnt seem...

Ok, soooo....
Its LG 24MB56HQ vs Dell P2414H. LG is cheaper (the Dell is 15% more expensive) but the Dell has pivot...Which is kinda nice. In a year I'll probobly go for a 27" 1440p monitor (maybe then there will be something in a 16:10 worth buying), then this monitor would be a second (third...
Probobly not sold in my country :( not even on the HP website. And with the shipping rate and tax, the price would go probobly about 2x up.
And too bad, becouse it looks really good ;)
