Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
let me sum up everything you need to know about gaming audio. The headphones with a bunch of speakers in them don't work well in general, because they are too close together. If you get fancy with an elaborate design, maybe they can work well, but I suspect most of them don't work well. What you...
A few things-
1. Some early talk suggested it would work on nvidia cards somehow. Obviously it can't. It doesn't even work on 6000 series radeon cards.
2. Linux support theoretically can happen, but games with mantle end up requiring windows anyway, so amd probably won't bother making a linux...
to me- no.
For example, the q6600 was an affordable versions of the fastest CPU available, having really only a lower multi, but otherwise being identical. In essence, it had the soul of a high end processor, but was priced at $200 at the height of it's popularity iirc.
The 2500k, although...
the spdif specs were set in stone for cd players.
They added more formats in the laserdisc era, but I think it's settled now.
about dolby digital live - it accepts pcm formats only and encodes them to 640k dolby digital.
On my xonar card, it is a distinct mode from digital output, which...
outside of deinterlacing, which arguably isnt even relevant anymore with the amount of progressive stuff nowadays, i would say they are basically the same.
what ts supports is a subset of what mkv supports.
mkv supports a ton more stuff.
The one exception to this is truehd + ac3 combo tracks, which aren't supported in mkv, but work in ts.
for mkv file playback, i strongly recommend mpc hc, configured according to this new guide that popped up on avsforums:

how is it hooked up, via analog cables or hdmi/spdif?
If analog, look for LFE crossover settings in your sound card driver. If digital, then look for LFE crossover settings in the receiver.
Also, that will only apply to audio without an LFE channel. Play a movie with 5.1 audio, and the...
what graphics card are you using btw?
i think your problem can be solved by using wasapi exclusive mode, there is a new guide on avs that details how to do that with mpc hc, and some other stuff as well. If you are using xbmc or mediabrowser, i believe you can get them to use mpc hc to play...
