2nd Monitor disconnects intermittently when sleeping

Recently bought an Asus pb278q to go along with my Dell 23in monitor. The Asus is hooked up via displayport while the Dell is hooked up to the DVI. When the monitors go to sleep, the Dell sometimes randomly disconnects causing all the windows to move over to the Asus. I can wake up both...

No DVI Signal on 16x slot

So I helped my friend build a computer yesterday. I can't remember the exact mobo he has but it's a gigabyte z87. The video card is a 560 gtx. The CPU is an i5 latest gen. Everything was spinning and working but there was no DVI signal to the monitor. I tried connecting the monitor to the...

Good desktop microphone that's decently priced?

Pretty much using it for gaming (mumble, TS, etc). The snowball is $40 at amazon atm for those interested.

Good desktop microphone that's decently priced?

So I've narrowed it down to the Blue snowball or CAD U37. I'm leaning more towards the CAD for some reason. Anyone who've used both have any input?

Good desktop microphone that's decently priced?

Thanks for the suggestions! But they all seem to confirm my problem. All the mics listed were $50+. There were none in between 10-50.

Are Seagates really as bad as they say?

Seagates are literally the only Hard drives that I've had issues with. Of the 2 that I've bought that were brand new, they each exhibited problems within the first week. There were constant errors and it was just unusable. Granted, I may have just been unlucky, but I refuse to buy any Seagate...

Good desktop microphone that's decently priced?

It seems with desktop mics, you either have a choice of crappy $10 ones or 50$+ good ones. Are there any in between that's of good quality? I've had the logitech desk mic which was good but it died on me, the zalman clip on which is way too sensitive, and the antlion mic which you can attach...

Does running more monitors tax GPU performance?

Never noticed a performance hit running dual monitors. Even if it were, I'd imagine it would be so minuscule for anyone to notice.

What video card has served you the longest before upgrading?

Probably my 8800GT. Pretty amazing that it can still run some games at decent settings to this day.

    Mini-ITX Movie watching/Media streaming build

Oh yeah sorry about that, I do need a motherboard. Geez that's a bit pricey. That would cut into the cost of a lot of other components. Let's forgo the window for now...
