    CPU LED is lit up on my board, can't figure out why. Tried everything. Last resort is replace power supply but its a newer 700 watt OCZ. (RMA'd the first board still having same problem with new)

    Gary I'm still experiencing the CPU LED light upon power up. No POST. Pins on mobo are fine and i tried clearing the CMOS. (This is with a new P8P67 PRO)

    arachn1d we had identical problems, Mine refused to post no matter what. As a last resort someone told me that it can be caused by an over torqued cpu cooler, i tried only slightly snugging it / screwing it in and it did the same thing. Needless to say i RMA'd

    A2 and B2 are the recommended spots. This motherboard is plagued with problems right now, just RMA'd mine for the CPU light staying on and not Posting.

    Same exact issue on mine, troubleshot this thing for 3 hours before talking to an ASUS rep who advised me to RMA the board. What a headache / disappointment. If you find a fix let me know but it's either bad CPU or bad board, and my bet is the board. :mad:
