I contacted the guy who sent me an invite to the server build last year and was told that there was no repeat this year but something might happen in the fall as good things were coming out right around then. -G

How much difference between DDR 2 533 and DDR 2 667 in a C2D Laptop?

Thanks for the replies. My laptop is an HP TC4400 which currently has 2 GB DDR 2 667 and is running Vista Enterprise which should see the 4 GB no problem. However I also have an Aopen MP945-VX which only has one SODIMM slot so a 2 GB stick in there would help out running Vista Ultimate. One...

How much difference between DDR 2 533 and DDR 2 667 in a C2D Laptop?

I'm looking at today's Frys ad where they have 2 2 GB sticks of DDR 2 533 for $349.99. I'm tempted to bite but wonder if it would be better to wait for another DDR 2 667 SODIMM deal to surface. Any thoughts? -G

*First Mod* Water Cooled Lian-Li V300!!!

Nice work! Makes me want to post pictures of my modded V300. I clearanced the optical/floppy drive carrier to clear my SLI setup and altered the HD carrier to allow easy installation of the SLI connector. I opted to get the interior bits anodized black instead of painting. Also I used a 1/8"...

Does anybody know what type of aluminum Lian Li makes their cases out of? I am modding a V300 and I need to know what type AL is used so I can get some parts anodized. -G

Official Lian Li PC-V300 Discussion Thread

Keep in mind though that you would most likely need to remove the side panel to deal with the power and SATA cable. Maybe a removable drive caddy would be a better option for you. -G
