Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey everyone! Apparently SabrePC is hosting some photo contest on their facebook page asking people to submit pictures of their gaming rigs. They want exterior and interior photos along with a rough budget estimate of the build.
Not sure if they're looking for completed or in-progress ones (I...
Great run by PR Balrog. He was a little impatient towards the end but impressive nonetheless! Infiltration with counterpick is always laughable but that's the way it is.
Currently I'm playing Company of Heroes 2, which I think is a very solid game. The only thing that bugs me is the unit pathing in the game. It just doesn't seem as responsive.
I may consider picking up FFXIV. I haven't played the beta but I've heard pretty good things about it so far. What are...
Has anyone tested out the new Xeon Phi 3120? If yes, how does it compare to the previous 5110P or perhaps even to the Tesla K20? This is the only model with an active cooling for desktop and it's more within budget range for most people (MSRP ~$1800 USD).
You can also use Supermicro's X9DRG-QF motherboard; it has been validated for Intel Xeon Phi and also NVIDIA Tesla GPUs. http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Xeon/C600/X9DRG-QF.cfm
In case you guys have not heard, Intel have finally released the beta Windows MPSS stack for the Phi.
You can download it here: http://registrationcenter.intel.com/irc_nas/3139/mpss_beta-2.1.6720-12-windows.zip

@bimmermman: Wow, thank you for the very detailed steps! I am hoping to get started this weekend. I'll most likely stop by the store and pick up all the supplies later this evening. I'll let you guys know how it goes!
@cmadki4 -- Are there any specific brands that you would recommend from experience? I've done a few searches around the web for basic tutorials. Now I just need to find a nice spot to do all of this.. the garage is not an option and I can't leave the chassis outside to dry as it would get dust...
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll go ahead and do more research online.
@cmadki4 -- I heard that different paint can counteract each other due to their chemical properties. Would this be the case if I didn't sand off the original paint? I want to do a nice pearl white with a glossy finish.
Hello everyone,
I'm new to case modding and I'm really interested in re-painting my Coolermaster CMS 690 II Advance. I have no prior experience to airbrushing/painting so if anyone with some experience can give me some pointers on where to begin (the type of materials need, etc.), that will...
I would like to point out that EVGA does have NVIDIA GeForce card that supports 3 displays on a single card. The EVGA GeForce GTX 460 2Win. For more information, visit: http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/02G-P3-1387.PDF
I was trying to search for the best price for an EVGA GTX 470. The best price I have found so far was $319.99 through SabrePC (http://www.sabrepc.com/p-247-evga-nvidia-geforce-gtx-470-1gb-gddr5-pci-express-20-x16-retail.aspx). This was the first time I've heard of them so I reviewed their...
