Creative Launches Sound Blaster AE-X PCIe Sound Card

I really wanted this to be great... but I doubt it can power my 250 ohm DT 770 Pros. I'll stick with my Fiio K7. 0 complaints with it after about 1 year.

Nvidia RTX 4090 power connectors melting?

Oh the connector could be better no doubt. More idiot proof, since it is so high current. There are examples of the 8-pin connector's melting as well. So, again, be careful, it will be fine. I like German Muscles' suggested connectors, those look stout. Wires would be stiffer... but capable.

Nvidia RTX 4090 power connectors melting?

I've taken several thermal images of mine and never had a heat issue with the connector. Use common sense, don't put pulling stress on the connector, you will be fine.

MSI’s RTX 5090 Lightning shatters GPU records before launch — 40-phase VRAM and dual 12V-2x6 connectors turn heads on upcoming overclocking monster

$5200 yikes But I wouldn't be surprised if that is the top card for the next 2+ years... And the 6090 is probably late 2027 or even 2028 before we might get them.

Nvidia Throws Gamers Under the AI Bus

If the Engineering costs are high enough, it makes no sense to make new models when there isn't enough parts (memory) to manufacture enough to make it worthwhile. If the development costs have already been expended, could simply be delaying production/release as there is insufficient memory...

    Data center in Space

They already know that for it to be feasible they have to get the launch costs down to $200 per kilogram. it's $1000 or more currently. At some point it likely will be feasible, but probably a decade off. If they design it such that robots can replace parts, I bet they can make it work...

The reddit post seems to point to enabling PhysX on a per-game basis, so how does it get enabled in a global way such that GPU-Z recognizes it is present?

Start with just 100 core, 0 memory, and test that. If no issues, switch it up to 0 core, 1000 memory. If that is stable then try 100/1000. Once confirmed stable this is your new floor, and follow same steps 200/1000, check for stability. If stable try 100/2000, but if it was not stable, try...

ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero BTF Review

The CPU only has x number of pcie Lanes. The x870e chipset adds 4 by doing lane sharing. We are not going to get 'lots more lanes' until AMD makes a bigger socket/cpu. More Lanes = More Pins in the socket. And AMD is famous for never changing the damn socket so little timmy can keep...

Well, even though Crysis was re-released a few years ago in a remastered edition on the Epic store, it was a port back from a console engine. That, or it was an engine re-code that prioritized Console. Whatever it was, the pc port has some issues that have never been fixed, even though my...

Nvidia looks to be cutting GPU production next year....

Less lower end GPU's next year, due to memory shortages. Memory sells for how much now?? Anyone else that can manufacture DDR will be looking to cash in. These supply/demand problems tend to correct themselves. Might take a year or two though, that sucks. None of the above says "Nvidia...
