256 mb or 512 mb are fine, prefer to have a quiet cooler installed. Willing to pay ~$90 to $125 shipped to 53719, depending on model/memory/cooler FYI this would be the cooler I'd buy if you have a default fan installed: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1214753

    OMFG 8800 Ultra

I was watching the WSVG China Tour, warcraft III competition on ppstream, they just gave out three! 8800 ultras, in retail box, and a guy in mascot also held one in his hand for display for like 5 mins. I guess that's 4 less out of the supposed 100 production run lol

    X-Fi Elite Pro $70 rebate @ Fry's & Frys.com

lmao at the guy whining about losing 3 seconds. The OP clearly mentions $70 rebate, not $70 AR

R600 Retail version, shorter than 8800GTX

perhaps, or perhaps not. But regardless, the retail version won't have the fan to the right of the pcb, it will be on top of the pcb, in a dual slot design. The actual pcb of R600 is shorter than 8800gtx afaik

R600 Retail version, shorter than 8800GTX

if u look, there's even a handle on the end of the oem, my guess is that it's used to be attached to hd-cage, to stabilize the card. And it can prolly be adjusted.

R600 Retail version, shorter than 8800GTX

http://www.tweaktown.com/popImg.php?img=news_amdr600update_01l.jpg 9.5 inches, kinda weak. I was some what excited because the oem version was like 12", which matches the length of the longest verified homo sapien male genital.
