    by MURA effect you mean the grey lines right? Yea....I can still make them out from about 6 feet away and mostly on a white background. would I have to exchange the screen or is that how LCDs are or what is causing it...can it be fixed?

    Well my 8800GTX only has DVI outputs...so no matter what I'm using DVI and my LG 42 screen only has HDMI input...no DVI inputs...or else I'd be using them, trust me on that. So it looks like from what I'm hearing, DVI-VGA has problems given i'm restricted to 1600x1200 and going from DVI-HDMI...
