some of you guys are getting 700+ on the core. i just cant break 690, or it goes to crap. my temps are fine though, so thats not the problem.

WOW!
can you imagine if you could SLI those bad boy's?
i mean, 4 free pci slots, four of them running in QUAD SLI! sick.:p

the triple head 2 go is a very good solution for 3 monitor setp, and i understand the digital version allows 3 widescreens. i saw custom resolution...
well, if, and when that happens fly at 'er.....i believe you have a long wait ahead of you....as INTEL appears to have a leg up over AMD these days, and im a AMD user for the last 8+ years! just recently i abandoned there platform over my current build based on an E6600, as when i built it about...
that reminds me of my last rig! it was a 2400+ mobile, on a dfi lanparty ultra b, that i prolly still would be running, if i hadn't accidentally fubared the board with the slip of my dremmel.

heres mine. the 3- 19" are run off a matrox TH2GO and the 4th (32") lcd is run off the second plug on the 8800 GTS. i like to watch HDTV on the 32" through a twinhan 1020a dvb-s card (satellite) and play dirt on it once and a while. COD4 rocks on the 3 - 19's...
well ill be damned! i have a dell 19" here that had 2 dead pixels when i bought it 3 weeks ago, i just tried this and one of them went away! it went away after about 10 seconds of rubbing it with my fingernail. ya learn something new every day....:)
why not save a couple bucks and get an E6600? they can clock up pretty good also, i have mine running at 3.6 (400x9) orthos stable. just make sure you get a decent MB/DDR2 ram, and your all set. i picked up an ASUS P5B-Plus, cause i didnt need SLI, for 140 dollars, and i like the OC'abillity of...
mines running quite well at 3840x1024 across 3-19" lcd's with the matrox TH2GO..... its awesome across 3 screens, although i certainly could use more gpu power ;-)
i was an amd guy for 10 years, 3 months ago i built the rig in my sig.... i had a dfi lanparty ultra b and a 2400+ mobile athlon, oc'd to the max on water..... well one day i fubared my MB with a slip of the dremel, forcing me to rebuild.
