It's still ok so far. got xp installed and wires not getting warm . keyboard broke on my main so using on screen. will update properly when get new kb.

Think i have sussed it. Managed to get them 30 wires down to 6! All the wires were connected together inside the psu anyway so i desoldered them and left just one of each. There was also wires for -5volt, -12volt and "power ready" that i didnt need so they are gone. I havent got any...

Didnt even know they existed, that would be perfect but i am trying to do it on the cheap as it has cost me £0 so far. Do i need all the wires on a normal psu? Can i connect all the orange together, all the reds together and so on. (20 Pin connection)?
