Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
What do you mean? It's from January.
Oh, right. Sorry. Stumbled onto this thread in my own research, saw the dates starting with 01 and forgot it wasn't 2012 anymore.
With the same amount of RAM, right? I'd think the difference would be larger going from 4gb of DDR2 to 8gb of DDR3.
I'm running an AM2+ board now with a Phenom X2 B93 (830/925), recently upgrading from a 7750. My board can handle up to a 140W processor, so the B93 is absolutely fine with...
I don't have my laser printer plugged into the same strip, but that's largely because it's in a different room connected wirelessly.
That said, turning it on tends to cause the lights to flicker, so it's just as well that it's not on the same power strip as any system.
It seems that it is selling decently enough to make it worth doing so and buying DDR3 instead of doing a memory upgrade to 8GB of DDR2, even if that would necessitate a new motherboard.
