    Thanks for the suggestion, but i've never been a fan of overclocking. I have "played" with, and tweaked the RAM settings inside the BIOS on many occasions, though, and no luck. (the only thing i've done close to overclocking) This would mean that only the CPU and GPU remain to be overclocked...

    Yup, completely random. Dirty as in dusty? If so, no, it's clean. If, however, you meant "faulty" or "problematic", it is a possibility, yes, but i cannot test this right now using a different one, in order to erase it from my "to do" list, because it's the only power outlet in the room...
