Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So,
I have an LSI 9271-4i with 3 Vertex 4 512GB SSD (Intel chips)....
I have yet to see the performance I think I should be seeing with RAID 0.
AS-SSD never sees a score above 1750, and the 4k performance is 25MB and 50MB.
I am looking, in fact, for specific instrucitons on how best...
Acronis does not support the Intel x79 / C600 chipsets. They've had 8 months to do so, and they've personally wasted tons of my time to determine which Linux distros work [for their bootable rescue disk], and 5 months later... Acronis True Image Home 2010 with the plus pack for universal...
FYI:
Acronis and the Intel x79 / C600 chipsets... Acronis still does not have support for it... and I went through EXTENSIVE testing with them and most of the major Linux distros.
(It appers that the people like us willing to spend considerable cash on LGA 2011 motherboards aren't valuable...
Well, too add to the the original review: The silent cell technology is great when it works. Also, related to this, the the heavy duty 3 fan versions of this same technology.
The one thing I've noticed is that all of the Gigabyte cards from this same time frame seem to use glue to hold...
Ok... responding to the folks who thing SSD are the way to go. Well, performance wise, maybe, but from a cost perspective... there are just not there yet. At least, so long as you need a decent highspeed storage solution...

MemTest86+ v1.70 is the one for x86_64 based systems (anything about 2 years old or newer)
Windows Memory Diagnostic will work on any...
Ok, so now I'm totally confused:
MemTest86+ fails, but Microsoft's "Windows Memory Diagnostic" seems to be working fine.
MSWMD, no, not Microsoft Weapons of Mass Destruction, seems to not be able to completely check the 4GB of memory... but it does seem to be checking at least 3GB...
Folks, I'm having a little difficulty with my G33M-DS2R:
I've swapped out the MB, and the RAM, but MemTest86+ is still failing.
I thought that it must have been a memory controler failure, but now I'm not sure.
I'm using a E6850 CPU, 8800GTS video card, Antec 550HE PSU, a 3Ware 9650...
