I've got the same problem. I've tried that but it says access denied. I've even tried the advice from this site http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=83973 , but when it reloads ubuntu, the mouse doesn't work. I'm lost, can anyone help?

I'm new to the whole computer craze and I was wondering if anyone has any cool ideas for modding a laptop. I've seen the modded desktop casings, and I was thinking it be cool to do some similar things to my laptop (instead of getting one of those stoopid skins). Thanks
