Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
All 3 buttons must be pressed and released at the same time then the monitor will turn on. Just try a few times then you will get it. After it's on then press the other button
Turn off the monitor first. Then press 3 buttons at the same time (use 2 hands:), the monitor will turn on. Nothing will be shown on the screen. Then press the other button. The service menu (small windows in blue back ground) will appear at the top left conner
Just send the guy an email and he will take care of that. Usually he will send dual DVI + power + USB uplink cables.
Mine is refurb as well but it looks brand new and in perfect working order. Also, just use the method mentioned in this link to check the hour...
wc3 = warcraft 3? The 4850 should be able to handle it. I still remembered playing it on the ATI 8500 with decent frame rate:)
Let me try it tonight to see if it goes up to 2560 x 1600
The AG coating does not bother me as much as the dell U2410. Beside my monitors are toward the windows so the coating helps a lot. In fact it does a good job.
He did send me all the cables except the power port one. But I do have one that came with the U2410 so no big deal. I swap between the DVI and Power Port but I see no difference. But I do tweak the Clear Type setting and get better result now. Text is sharp and readable.
It seems that with...
Turn out that my warranty is indeed 3 years and 1 month:D. So the seller gave me an extra 1 year warranty. Great seller.
To Itching
I emailed the guy and he fixed the warranty for me. To access the warranty information, all I need is the service tag code. You can access it without logging in...
I have the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 as my main speaker and the Senheiser 595 for late listening. Don't bother hook it up to my main stereo cause I prefer a simple setup. Really want to try either M-Audio BX5a (great price at amazon right now btw) or Audioengine a5.
I'm using display port for now cuz I don't have dual link DVI cable (seller gonna send me a set).
Does display port have anything to do with the blurry text?
The market value of a used 3008 is around that range. It is just that these "Refurbished but like new" deals + free shipping + bing cash back have better values.
How do you like it so far?
