SpectraView software tells me how many hours usage on the monitor. I have 8,198.4 hours usage and just wondering how long a monitor like this is good for.

How many hours is a NEC 2490 WUXI good for?

Yes this is not my first time calibrating. Should I check the ambient light measurement every time?

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I checked all settings and I'm pretty sure their correct. Everything looks over saturated. Colors are extremely strong and all white subjects look pink or magenta. When I go back to the previous calibration,it looks good again. I wonder if my puck is pucked up.

As long as you put it on the center bar you should have about a half inch of clearance from the air vents on each side. Mine hardly gets warm up there, you should be ok.

This monitor looks great from the factory but looks even better after calibration. Switching calibration on and off shows slight difference but there is an improvement.
