Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Actually..I hope that for the PC version we have both options.
Either the traditional PC combat system, OR the active Xbox combat system.
I don't see a reason why on the PC it needs to be either/or.
Hmm...I can't see anything resembling a 'fill port' on this thing. I also can't see a way to access the top of the case where the 'radiator' is.
Performance...in what sense?
I can overclock the graphics cards to about 480 core and 1040 Memory. Moderate overclocking I suppose. I have not tried...
Hello all,
I bought an Alienware ALX system, it is watercooled apparently with some form of Koolance EXO kit.
I've never dealt with Watercooling before, but I have reached the point where the two 7800GTs in SLI aren't cutting it in modern games. So I want to swap both of them for a single...
Video mode on/off doesn't make a difference.
I just saw a new 2405 buyer reporting the same rolling lines issue on the Component Input as well.
If this is a flaw, it should be mentioned in reviews. I wonder how they tested the monitor, if they never tested the Component inputs at all...
I've noticed the wavy lines as well and posted in a seperate thread.
For me, sometimes they come and go. I have not definitively linked it to heat.
It ONLY happens with Component Input, whether 480p or 480i. I have only tested with an Xbox Component inputs.
?
You think it could be the Monster cables then?
Oh..just re-read. You said when you set to 720 or 1080i you don't get the shimmering. I don't know of any Xbox games that ran at 720p that I could test.
But yes, if it was the cables you should get the shimmering all the time.
So, it...
I'm using the Monster Cables, with the gold plating. The ones that are hard as crap to push in and pull out :)
I mean, i sometimes have to use a pliers to pull the connections out, thats how tightly they grip, and I can't really open them wider because of the tough metal (I doubt its solid...
An update to this is that this morning I turned on the monitor and the Xbox and tried to game and the image was great. There were no rolling lines.
And then, all of a sudden, after about 15 minutes of use, the lines appeared again :(
I really don't understand it. *sigh*
Well, I guess so. I can't understand why it's happening, and in another thread someone had gorgeous 480p shots of an Xbox running through the monitor, and they never spoke about the rolling line effect.
This morning, right after I powered on the monitor and the Xbox, the image was perfect...
Vote with your wallets.
If consumers don't support DRM then they won't sell it.
If morons complain and then go out and buy the latest movies on DRM protected content, AND go out and buy new monitors so they can watch them...then DRM will become the de facto standard.
Would we prefer if...

Post on Xbox Component connections and 2405
I have top quality Monster cables, not even the standard Microsoft AV pack. I believe the 'rolling lines' flaw that I experience is just the monitor not being able to handle the 480p signal.
This weekend I will try to get a DVD...
