Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Exact same thing happened to me, 8 strips, 6 failed. NZXT finally had me RMA the whole unit with the strips. They sent it back and the USPS lost the package. Been waiting for 2 months and 15 days with an open ticket asking if they had insurance or if I just have to eat it.
Something is going...
Found the FPS ssue and fixed it. The latest NVIDIA drivers, 375.86 put a limit on my video ram speed to 800mhz per card for some reason and totally ignored MSI Afterburner no matter what setting I chose. I reverted back to the old 375.70 drivers and everything is fine again. Well other than...
Yeah did all that above and have a fresh build on it. I'm not sure how the NVME slowness could be related but it's awfully suspicious that both were fine and now both are garbage.
I used windows 10 reinstall os feature and told it not to keep anything. I noticed it made a Windows.old folder...
Tested each stick of RAM separately and then again in pairs. No change. I then disabled SLI and frames dropped about in half, to 15fps at 1080. I then tested each card separately, physically removing one card at a time, same results. I even went so far as to try an old 1080p monitor thinking...
Error log is clean outside of a DCOM error on boot up complaining about permissions. Doesn't seem relevant.
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

I'm not one to normally post for help but I'm just at a complete loss here. Here's the issue:
Specs for reference:
MSI XPOWER Titanium 170a
Intel 6700k
4K G-Sync Monitor
SLI 1080 XTREME Gaming
Samsung NVME as loader drive for Windows and current games
SLI and GSync on in NVIDIA control panel...
+190 / +400 is about all I can manage. Driver crashes at 200 and thats with 100% fan curve starting at 80C.
Oddly enough I don't get any increase in score on Valley nor Heaven benchmarks from stock to this OC though. Blaming it on the fact that the new SLI HB bridges arent out yet though.
Oh I hear ya. I wasn't expecting the moon for such a minor step in tech but I was expecting higher benches than the old tech. I sold my 980's on eBay for 100 under what I paid for them then bought the two 1080's with that cash. 200ish bucks to be current and have better VR performance is cool...
Just got them yesterday, upgrading from some g1 Xtreme 980 ti's, standard SLI bridge being used since the new one hasn't been released yet. Fired up several benchmarks and some are coming back lower while some are higher on the exact same settings.
In Valley for instance, I was at 6591 with a...
