    Shortening length of IDE cable okay?

    I have done this before(trimmed cable) as well, I continued to spray some canned rubber over the wire to prevent any shorts. I also have split the cables and zip tied them to reduced air flow. Has allowed me to keep my IDE drive without limiting airflow.

    Got my Westinghouse LVM-37W3 37" 1080p display today!

    I was hoping that some one would benefit from it, just wish that there was a shop-ko in my area. Considering that this tv is not a projection and uses a backlight, I would say that it does not apply. With regards to your DLP, I have no idea.
