    x800xl under achieving?

    There's definitely something wrong with those benches... My sys is in my sig, but I get 10781 on 03, and 65k or so on Aquamark stock, and my system isn't terribly different than yours... Unfortunately, I can't see what might be wrong...Hopefully people more knowledgable than myself will be...

    Aaaalright... Clocks 470/580. I'd give temps but I doubt the accuracy of TrayTools on mine at the moment considering it reports the environment temps about 20 degrees too high according to SiSoft/anything else. It's running on 256MB 1.6ns GDDR3 ram. Yes there's a power cable, I too...

    *does dance* I *think* that I see my score as the highest x800xl ^_^ That's exciting...even though it's no where near anything that the big-boy cards have...it's still respectable. I want to break 6k though...but there's no way I can on stock cooling...Maybe sometime I will buy one of...

    Hey if I were to buy a silencer for my AIW xl, I would go with the 4 right? Due to the fact it's based off of the 420 core... I apologize if it's a dumb question but I would want to know for sure before dropping 30 bucks on a fan ^_^

    350 dollar budget for gfx card

    I love me my x800xl AIW. On air overclocks to about 470/585 or so with no artifacting or anything after hours of play. So I don't know how it compares to a GT, but it still runs everything exceptionally well. If you can find one for cheap it's a great great card.

    I've had no problems with any of my games yet with the Cat 5.4 drivers... And looking at sleepeeg3's post...umm, someone correct me if I'm wrong but everything you can do with SM3 you can do with SM2.0b right? It just helps it run slightly faster in 3...

    What's Faster?

    I have an x800XL, and as far as I can see, it beats out most pro's. Stable oc up to 490/585 or so on stock cooling (keep in mind this is an AGP AIW card though). On everything I've seen though, I'd have to say go XL
