This is from a few pages back but I'm wondering if that slot loading drive came out of an old compaq? I have the same drive as my temp drive in my main computer at the moment.

If I remember right you can just unplug those lights. I have that same fan controller but without the lights and with a broken knob. Stupid thing shifted (entire computer, not the fan controller) while being transported to a LAN party and broke itself.

I used to have a 50ft VGA cable + synergy to access my server (hallway closet) but I just use vnc now.

Have an MX518 mouse. Wish my Saitek keyboard was still working properly. I don't normally leave my laptop there unless I'm doing something with it. School, ripping CDs/DVDs etc...

Like some of the others in this thread I'm getting a little tired of WoW and would like to be able to try the game before buying it. If anyone has a buddy key they wouldn't mind parting with I'd like one. Thanks

I never really got into the DoW and the later CoH style of resource management/acquisition. Otherwise great games.

Star Wars Gallactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns is a near clone of Age of Empires II: The Conquerors just so you know. So if you're looking for a similar game that's more stable I'd suggest it. C&C3 is good. Warcraft 3 isn't very good just for the pure RTS aspect but the different mods...
