Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I ended up installing the heatpipe.
It was a struggle because of the angled vga chip on the BFG but i managed. The card is running a bit hotter than the stock fan.
63C idle and 92 full load.
But it is much quieter. Another thing i should mention is that i have an old case with crappy...
Unfortunately, i already bought the zm80d.
Although the chip is diagonal, i think the zalman heatsink will still cover most of it. Now if i could only figure out how to remove the stock fan!
If i cant, i guess i have to break the original clips.
I bought a zalman zm80d-hp and am having some trouble removing the stock fan/heat sink on my bfg 6600gt agp. Its attached with these black springy plastic things.
Does anyone have experience with this and know how to remove it?
