    After a look through the BIOS configuration with non 3am eyes, I found the setting for IOMMU - now supports Direct Path IO. GREAT!:)

    I have just built a ESXi 5 machine on the AMD platform (using a 970 mobo also). I am very happy with how it is running. Unfortunately it doesn't support Direct Path IO, but I am not to worried about that. :) More info about the build is on my blog...
