    Notebook hangs after login

    If the system is starting up in safe mode but not booting up properly during a normal boot, some software is starting up and interfering with the process. Have you run msconfig to see what is starting up with the system yet? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310560 or you can go into registry...

    So my first week Xbox 360 died...now what?

    I thought my first-week box died recently too (barely booting, trouble reading discs) and it turned out that it was the AC power supply that was shot. I got a replacement and it works just fine again.
