This will be my first venture in to phase but there are a few things i need to know before i start. first how long can the final cooling line to the cpu be, if at all possible i would like to have the unit in my basement with my water cooling setup. also i hit 3.66 on water with an e6420@1.55v...

i'm runnin 3666 @ 1.55 volts in bios which shows up as 1.5 in windows. the question is wether its the voltage or the heat that hurts the chip mine idles @ 35 and loads at 36. which board are you runnin? i have a ga-650sli-ds4 now that replace my old ds3 i have absolutly no cold boot issues now.

GA-650SLI-DS4 in widows/locks orthos 1.65 v @4000 really love this mb i can leave the ram alone and clock away... processor is currently @3.66 with 1.5v after droop set at 1.55 in bios think i can beat dnottis if i dump some ice in the water cooler ... there are some big holes though.

its a heater core from a 85 mystang and as for small thats a 120mm fan thinkin of goin with a civic radiator and a full civic fan lol

30 idle 60 load @3.4 1.45v.. should do 3.6 now

down to 60 load 37 idle @3.4 with 1.45v.....

cpu to northbridge to gpu back to res/pump.. water is lityerally luke warm when it comes out
