New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

Kinda figured Top exhaust would make more sence, but was really concerned that drawing warm air through the HeatSink and out, was less effective than Introducing Cool air into the case and blowing it through the Heatsink? I guess I'll do some tests, but top exhaust does sound more logical.

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

Can someone help me out with some Airflow questions... So here is where I'm at, but feels over kill, so want to know if there are some needless fans or fans which are counter intuitive. HeatSink = Megahalems CPU Fan = 120mm Noctua Top fan = 140mm Noctua Rear fan = 120mm Slim...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

Finally got the funds for the rest of my build, that PSU placement is a real in the ass. I managed to get the Megahalems on with a Noctua 120mm in Push, and a Noctua 140mm at the top as Intake... I was intending to get another fan as Pull on the Megahalems (a Scythe Slim 12mm) but the PSU hits...

@dys13: Thanks for the Photo, thinking of going this route, but surprised the RAM slots get covered? Have you got tall Ram modules?

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

@djstarfox Thanks for the images, that actually helps clear up alot of conjecture. One thing that baffles me abit is that your PSU isn't as low as I'd expected. It actually looks like there is space on that lower side of the Heatsink to mount a fan without it making contact with the PSU? I...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

If you're not planning on overclocking, I'd suspect you can get away with any midrange cooler... anything 80-90mm based. If you want to go 120mm or 140mm, you're probably restricted to getting a Down-Blowing style arrangement like the NH-C12P, or do like I'm planning and buy separate HS and...

Megahalems [1 fan] vs Armageddon [push/pull] (advice pls)

Thanks for the feedback. I'll check out the venomous x, if not I'll go with the megahalems. 200$... woah thats a good price. I've taken the 930 to 4200, but there isn't much about the 950s abilities. So might take your advice and stick with the 930.

Megahalems [1 fan] vs Armageddon [push/pull] (advice pls)

Hey guys, I've been involved elsewhere on the forum discussing the new Lian Li V354 case. I'm currently planning on craming a 930 or 950 in there OC to 4.2ghz (goal)... 4ghz min. I'm still unsure if the 950 is worth it, as I know the 930 can definitely reach those speeds. Anyways I...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

probably a good idea, I personally just couldn't resort to defacing this case, its just that nice.

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

Anyone have any experience with the "Armageddon" vs "Megahalems" vs "NH-D14"? Pretty much confirmed the NH-D14 is a long way from fitting.... Just not gonna happen. With or without the 140mm Fan, you can still fit a: Megahalems with a single 120mm fan (facing top to bottom, fan on top)...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

started writing a reply about H50 compatibility, but chrome crashed, so this is gonna be shorter. Might fit if mounted sideways on the 120mm points on the top of the case. Doing this will get you an extra 1cm rise from the mobo (a total of about 3cm). Its possible that on a mobo like the Asus...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

@latinadonis at second glance, I believe your right, the space looks like its there, perhaps the Mobo is gonna be the issue. Think we need to start a HSF compatibility list on Wiki for this Badboy.

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

@bastage I think the problem is the size of the radiator. Its Top and Bottom edge stick out beyond the point screwed in, so you'd need at least an inch above and below the vent screwpoint to get it to fit... Obviously rotating it 90 degrees woudl be an option, but the vent is already in a...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

@rwk623 thanks for the info, thats the same mobo I was hoping for, good to know your temps, I'd be happy with 4ghz @ 80. I'm thinking in that setup you'd definitely need the 120mm rear and 140mm rear as intakes. @latindonis & @MissJ84 I'm doubtful about it fitting in that spot as there is very...

New Lian Li PC-V354 m.atx case : Specification & Feature

@rwk623 I'm thinking about getting the 950 over the 930.... I got the 930 to 4.2ghz before, I see that you're running your 950 @ 4ghz.. What temps you getting under load with your H50, and whats your Mobo?
