Anyone have a ASUS pa248q (24 Inch IPS) and using windows 8?
Anyone have a ASUS pa248q (24 Inch IPS) and using windows 8? If so what does your monitor identify as and did you have any luck installing the driver (its a .cab file) and no matter which way I try to update the driver from ASUS it doesnt recognize the cab file. Suggestions? Thanks in advance. -

I was thinking of doing 1 1TB drive, then just doing a backup every night - Instead of the raid to keep the power usage down. Because right now I have 3 drives PLUS the boot drive. I was considering rsyncing to S3 even. I stuck with the intel core 2 duo for the chip, hopefully the wife...- Funbags

Regarding the onboard video I think thats fine, as long as I can maybe add a card in the future. I am still torn between the intel and amd. The problem I see with the onboard video it really cuts down on the motherboard options available... They all seem to be micro ATX with limited PCI slots...- Funbags

Charlie, Linux is not for the advanced, especially with all the user friendly distro's out there now. Although I do not use it, give Ubuntu a whirl, you'll have a fileserver running in no time. There are 100's of tutorials out there for people just like you. Here ya go...- Funbags
