    However, unless your a Hard Core Gamer, the Backlight X which Comet was refering to is actually very faint. Much better than most dell's i've seen.

    On those pics i was using the VGA from the xbox 360. Ive tried the component and the major diff was the brightness and the HD cleared things up. I will posts some picks of Component.

    Gateway FPD2185W...can't display native res...help!!!

    Its your Video Card. I have the same card and it will only go up to that maximum setting yours will. Youll just have to get a really good card to display that setting.
