    7970 coming down to $449 ?

    Tigerdirect had them in stock all day and still does right now if anyone wants one. AMD will lower prices for sure. As it stands. 7950 pricing = GTX680 pricing while the GTX680>7970. Makes sense? No? Not to anybody else either except AMD fanboys. $400ish sounds right for a 7970.

    What, did you even click on the link? It it titled " Asus HD 7950 DirectCU II: fault report!" They're even pictures for you, there is no backplate on the card, only 4 screws holding the cooler down. The 7970 has a full backplate.
