    6800nu or 6600gt?

    They make 6800LEs with GDDR3? Can you unlock 4 pipes to compare with a 6800NU? Heck, can you unlock 8 pipes, for that matter?

    6600 GT PCI-e vs 6600 GT AGP vs 9800Pro

    You can't unlock anything in a 6600gt. You can unlock a 6800NU from 12 to 16 pipes, and add another vertex shader too. The success rate varies, I've heard from 1/3 to 1/2. Still better than the 6600gt's 8 pipes. I guess you can overclock the 6600gt, but it's already running at a core...
