Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I can wait, I am a patient person, I can wait for Skylake and Skylake-E. I can wait for GTX 970/980 price drops.
18%+ performance increase at stock is very nice and that gives me a reason to upgrade, besides the GPU.
I was looking at benchmarks of 970 SLI beating a 980?
Will 980 Ti be...
Will Skylake be a huge upgrade from SB? Will it justify the cost? DDR4 mainstream?
I saw that Ivy Bridge and Haswell (4770k and 4790k) run extremely hot at stock and VERY HOT at overclock so I wanted to hold off as my SB takes 4.5ghz easily.
I was thinking to upgrade the GPU and CPU/Mobo/RAM...
Hey guys, I've had this PC a total of 4 years since 2011. The oldest thing is my GPU from June 2011 which has a lifetime warranty which EVGA sent me back a replacement which was bad and they sent me another which is very good.
So the first area below is the CURRENT PC I am using. I talked to my...
I think I figured out what the problem was. I D/Led the latest nVidia drivers and re-installed the same version over the ones I have now and that seemed to do the trick. During the setup it makes the drivers a clean install and makes all the profiles to default so it probably was some setting...
I really like the built in photo viewer though and I checked my monitor profiles and I have none and the problem still persists.
Never had this problem when windows 7 first came out in 2009 :/
This forum is WAY more helpful then overclock.net. Good thing I joined way back when I was in middle school :D
So it did it again and I captured all the dllhost.exe processes and I am uploading the logifle.pml now. I will PM it to you shortly.
I looked at the the color calibration stuff and it was not that. I don't have a custom profile for that.
I have 332.21 nvidia drivers so it's not really "out of date."
I click on the actual picture, not a shortcut.
Can you show me how to add a filter for dllhost.exe?
I have the same...
Yup, it ALSO happens on the SSD.
How do I test my SATA controller? I don't think it's that. I think it could be a setting as the same problem also is on the SSD.
I looked at process monitor and I see alot of RegOpenKey, RegQueryKey, RegCreateKey, RegCloseKey.
It has to be some setting with...
IDK I haven't tried it in safe mode.
It is a recertified one as the previous WD Cavair Black 750 SATA 3GB/s HDD I had before had really, really bad slowdowns when gaming or loading large files.
I can load movie files (mp4) files fine with windows media player practically instantly. But when I try to load pictures, sometimes it loads instantly. Other times it doesn't load and then if I click twice it loads the original and the second picture a few seconds later.
I was having this...
I put the page file on the HDD to give myself some more SSD space. It could be that?
I checked with alot of anti-malware I am clean.
I have 4GB ram and made W7 very lean so i only use like 500-600mb ram at bootup/idle.
