New LG W2600HP 26" S-IPS
No buzzing noises here on any of those screens in the test. I even made my room really quiet while testing. Perhaps it's a issue with being new, maybe the circuits need some time to wear-in or something. -

Yeah, i'm still real happy with it. It's been 3 months now since i got a perfect one (first one had some subpixel problems) and it's still performing as it should. It still has no pixel problems or power supply (noise) issues. Like said before, there isn't really an alternative for this IPS... -

Stuck subpixels. Or not?
I'm lucky then, my 2nd display is perfect. (build feb 2009) No backlight bleed, no strange stuck subpixels, no dead pixels, no humming from the PSU, and the panel itself isn't loose when i press on it at the top. (although i didn't use that much force) I've done all the lagom.nl calibration... -

Do you have to ship it to RMA it, and pay those shipping costs yourself? I got mine at a local (web)store so i could simply go back, drop it off, and get a new one. I haven't seen this monitor in any department stores until yesterday. We've got a large chain of department stores here called... -

My EVGA GTX 295 is currently running on 625/13??/1175 (linked) I get the notorious nvlddmkm.sys error (display driver stopped responding and has recovered crap) if i push my memory up to 1200 (with same core/shader) I just read that you can up the voltages with rivatuner or an EVGA tool. Well i went to the store's customers support and i got a completely new monitor. It was handled as hardware malfunction rather then a pixel problem and therefore they gave me a brand new LG W2600HP-BF. I showed them the above pics and that really helped them seeing the problem rather then... -

I don't think such a program will help with these Stuck subpixels. Here my snapshots. With the camera it seems like 10 times worse. It isn't really visible on the black, but the camera registers it way better then our eyes. ps. pics made with canon ixus 70 compact camera. -

I've also got a 2cm x 1cm area (l/w) filled with these red dots, and they only show with fullscreen black. They are only noticeable when you look real close. Are these bugged pixels or what? (LG w2600hp-bf S-IPS) Did you guys get warranty? -

I would go for a new LG. Prad.de showed that this monitor has a really low input lag for a IPS panel. So it's suitable for gamers also. I'm also not a pro-gamer, but i do like to have good stuff to be as good as i can when i'm gaming. But i also want a good monitor when doing normal 2d work... -

Looking For A New 24" or 25.5"
Your current Dell 2405FPW has a PVA panel. The 2 current models you're looking at have TN panels. TN panels are inferior to PVA/IPS panels, so imo you won't gain anything. (TN's are only better for lower input lag with gaming) So i wouldn't be looking at TN panels when your current screen...
