Sorry, no. The only connection between Java and JavaScript is the name due a marketing brainfart from Netscape. They were made by different companies at different moments for different reasons.

Even if Wikipedia contents are shallow and only good enough for casual browsing and forum discussions, their source reference list is always a good start point to more deep research.

Bingo. Foxconn got a deal with brazilian government to set up factories here and create lots of jobs (yeah, right). In exchange, they got a number of fiscal incentives (far lower taxes over their products, mostly).
Personally, I believe Foxconn will find out sooner than later that workers are...

1970s: Star Trek/Trek ( that text only game - man, I am really old :P )

Otherwise, a pretty fair list actually.
Funny how IBM frequently is associated with lack of innovation, but actually is one of the most prolific companies in terms of technologic research. Go Big Blue!
