The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Ahh those games are not graphic intensive games at all.... I see your point. Sorry just assumed people were pairing these Monitors with 3080/TI/3090 and 6800/XT/6900 to play graphics demanding FPS games / open world games. Forgot about strategy and Isometric RPGS etc

I can only assume you are confused. The GPU still does most of the work at 4k no matter the speed and the CPU has little impact compared to the GPU at 4k. a RTX 3090 paired with a 3700X still gets similar speed as a 5950x paired with a RTX3090 at 4k.

Truthfully I always thought it be a great size for 4k and I love technology. I normally wait till they are on sale and deep discount etc. In my heart I just kinda hoped the 4k 32 would herald a new dawn for pc gaming as it was the dream a while ago.

I use an X38P and and LG CX48 in tandem at the moment. I also had the Aorus 43 and that was pretty awful imo.

So sadly looks like the current new 32 4k are not worth it :(

Is the X38 Predator the best 38" monitor for photo editing?

Last Reply but I use quite a few rigs. I was lucky to get the Acer X38P for cheap and its a great monitor. The alienware 38 is also on offer for around £900 atm. I would lean towards the Alienware for the warranty alone !
