Lord of the Rings: War in the North, $5 PC, Activates on Steam

Oh dammit, saw this one too late. It looked really cool when it first came out, but I rarely buy games full price, so I was going to wait. Maybe next time!

    Rosewill Mechanical Keyboard | $64

I ordered a brown before the price went up $10. The speaker I could care less about (really, just leave it out and save yourself a dollar in shipping, I DON'T WAN'T IT) but I was finding it really difficult to pass up on a mechanical keyboard (with brown switches, at that) for $65 shipped...

Razer Nostromo Gaming Keypad $40 Refurb @Woot

See, the thumbstick would be GREAT for moving vs. WASD in something like an MMO; WASD typically needs at least a finger or two dedicated for just moving, while you're having to stretch out the rest of your fingers to hit whatever skills you need. If you can use solely one finger to move (your...

Warm: Seasonic X650 PSU for $110 at Newegg

Link-fu over to the 'egg with promo code: EMCYTZT1804. This same PSU has been on sale in the past at $100, and the bigger brother (X750) has been as low as $110; but if you're looking for a pretty silent, highly-rated PSU right now, this isn't a bad deal. Sure, you can probably get a higher...

Steam Daily Deal - Driver: San Fransisco

This looks fun! I'll debate it while I study tonight...

Rosewill RK-9000 mechanical keyboard and webcam $63.99

I probably would have jumped on the Browns had they come with the webcam, which, oddly, is something I'd actually be using. But since it doesn't, and they're $87, and it's not Tenkeyless (I really want to use it that way now that I've got my desk set up differently), I'm in the "pass" category...

$37.99 xbox wireless controller for windows + FS @ Egg

This is the lowest price I've seen for a controller and receiver in, uh, forever. That said, I don't sit that far away from my PC, at all, but I don't want to have to deal with the wire so I'm juuuuuust almost willing to pull the trigger on this.

    Seasonic X750 Gold $109.99

They did this for me, too! I couldn't seem to find the 6-pin connectors to go to my new (at the time, and yet still current) video card, and honestly I don't know if my 520HX came with them. I'm pretty sure it did, though, and I just couldn't find them. In any case, a quick e-mail to Corsair...

NZXT Switch 810 (white) $135.99 FS @ amazon

Link to Newegg video review. The whole thing's good, but the front panel comes off at around 1:14 and reveals a fan; it looks like it pulls in air around the front panel thing and brings it into the case.

    Seasonic X750 Gold $109.99

Decent, maybe? I'm not entirely sure. I can't find a review of that one on jonnyguru. But against the Seasonic, the PCP&C isn't modular (at all), and "only" comes with silver efficiency rather than gold. The latter isn't so much of a big deal, but for me, the former would be: I just can't do...

    Seasonic X750 Gold $109.99

That's...what she said? On topic, mine came in a gigantic box. I'm waiting until Monday, just in case Newegg puts the X850 on sale, and I'll sell this and grab that one. Maybe. Then again, though, I'm probably never going to run a game on more than one monitor (though multiples for general...

    Seasonic X750 Gold $109.99

Actually, thinking about it, if the X850 goes on sale next week, I'll probably just buy it and turn around and sell this X750. I doubt it'll go on sale, but hey, whatevs. I can run on an HX520 for a while longer, I suppose...besides, the other parts haven't gotten to my door yet and this comes...

    Seasonic X750 Gold $109.99

Playing around with Phaedrus' Quick'n'Dirty PSU calculator lets me load a 2500k at 40% overclock and two GTX580's in SLI (OC'd, no voltage) and reccomends this PSU. Also, JonnyGuru gives it a 9.5. I'm glad the X650 went out of stock, but I'm going to laugh if the X850 goes on sale next week at...

    27" IPS 2560x1440 monitor~90hz <$400 FS

Depending on how this monitor reviews, I would *have* to be in on one. Those listed specs are RIDICULOUS.

    Dell 24" 1920x1200 IPS - $299

How does this compare to the Viewsonic VP2365-LED? The Viewsonic's panel is also IPS, but I think it may be true 8-bit. I don't do graphic design work, but still, you know...e-peen? This has that nice x1200 vertical resolution, too.
