Mine is 99% together, just waiting on my GTX770 waterblock.
Ive got magicool slim radiators with scythe 12mm fans, and I have a couple gelid 15mm fans that I may use on the bottom. I'm using an Apogee Drive 2 pump/cpu block
The fittings for the bottom radiator are gonna be the issue.
Will...
Case #334 Arrived in mid michigan today. Ship #26 and the tracking never updated until today.
Great looking case, but I wont be able to do the build for another couple weeks
Thanks Necere and Wahaha360
Im using the scythe 12mm fans on one of my radiators in my prodigy and while they are obviously not as good as full size fans, they do the job well enough and they aren't ever loud, even when its on my desk next to me they aren't audible unless the room is absolutely silent.
Thats exactly what my setup will be except Im just gonna mount my res on the back externally. I think it will look kinda cool and makes for easy level check and filling...
I'm also gonna put an aquaero rgb led in it and have it change color by temp, which should look sweet with some white...
I've got a apogee drive 2 on a 3770k running around 4.2ghz normally and it works flawlessly as the only pump in my loop that has 2 radiators, a res, and a gtx570 all as a single loop.
Great alternative to a closed loop because of the possibilities it offers for expanding. I have no experience...
I have an apogee drive 2 and it works great. If I recall correctly its CPU block is considered to be pretty good. The reason I got mine was it opened the door for endless possibilities down the road for custom loops while not really being bigger than a closed loop.
Its more expensive than...
In a good water loop the water wont get much above ambient so its not really "hot" air.
For example, My ambient is normally around 21-23C, my water has never hit 30C, normally hovering around 25C.
I fully agree. If my computer is gonna be a desk computer, it should look good. How much is sacrificed for it to look like that will be interesting to find out.
I'll put money down on them being Mobile gpu's. I also seriously question the cooling ability when stressed.
BUT, its not a professional system. Anyone who needs serious work done will get something cheaper and more effective with a more practical form factor
Im basically planning on moving my current build into this case.
i7-3770k Cooled with an apogee drive II pump/water block
Asus p8z77-i Mobo
Probably my current 8GB ram
At first Ill probably keep my GTX560ti 448, might splurge and get a 780 or 770 though.
Mushkin SSD, not sure if Ill get a 2.5in...
Do you have a higher res version of these pics?
Im trying to get an idea of how much room is on the floor of the case when you factor the io panel wiring.
Thanks
I'm using the magicool slim radiators that are 30mm thick. I'm also using the scythe 12mm highest speed fans, and using a fan controller they never exceed 1100 rpm when on a single and double 120 rad cooling a 3770k and gtx560ti 448 both overclocked. The temps are pretty good and sound wise its...
