Yes id say this display is for gfx pro's and medical rooms etc as NEC states, i was hoping for a bit more of an allrounder performance from this display (also input lag concerns), i do want to play games on it but i dont play game all that offen anymore. I am not saying this is a poor display... -

Vertical banding "goes away" ??
BIZZARE! yer man, ive found that for some reason the banding on my lcd goes away when i switch it off :eek: , you think im onto something ere ???? :confused: OMFG -

Cool thanks, i noticed you can turn HDCP on and off! YAY! No swivel function on the stand is a bit disapointing, but not the end of the world :p Nothing mentioned about opticlear coating, personally id perffer it without it :cool: ITS KIKASS IMO :D -

Dell:purple effect
Mine did that, heaps annoying hey ! Its normal tho coz you have a s-ips paneled 2007wfp, if you have the monitor at a greater distance from your eyes does it still do the purpling ? -

I agree, but i am becoming impatient :D i want a 2690 for xmas :D but i am considering buying a sammy 215tw to use till the 2690 comes out, the chimei junk i use at moment burns my eyes out of their sockets after long periods of use, i need a solution fast :P HALP! 215tw input lag argh scarey.... -

The 2007wfp A02 s-ips i used to own also had this purpling in the corners from any angle, it was very annoying for me, refund took 2 weeks also :P Why are soo many people obsessed with their dell lcd's lol, ive had both 2007wfp and 2407wfp, they both were junk IMO. -

Yo thanks for that redrebel, i might do some more research on the eizo, im getting sick of waiting for LCD's to be released, like the 245T and 2690. If you get time maybe you could do a review with pics of your new beastly display :D They use NEC 90 series in stargate atlantis lol, dang they... -

Color gamut of the 2407?
The 2407 has lots of problems that calibrating the colours wont fix hehehe For a start, it wont 1:1 @ 1600x1200.... -
