    Dell S-Line Screens - S2740L, S2440L, S2340M, S2340L, S2240M

Yeah, that is what I meant. :) Though quite a lot IPS panels suffer from it too it seems.

Could you have a look over here: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php and tell me if there is any black crush?

    BenQ GW2x50(HM) thread.

Wouldn't connecting it to a DisplayPort with a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter fix that problem as well? Or would that cause other trouble?

Well, ideally you wouldn't have any overshoot nor ghosting, though, as it stands, that seems impossible with IPS or VA screens (and even with TN it is really hard)

Like the poster before me said, that site isn't Dutch, it's German. I was talking about hardware.info. Though it will be a few weeks before they put the review online, since they just started selling the magazine.

They have a review on the s2340l in a Dutch magazin, they haven't released their online review yet

That's due to a too agreelssige overdrive (which they say in the review), many IPS panels (like the U2412M) and even some TN panels have the same problem. It has nothing to do with it being a VA panel.

But all that air will touch your screen! It will get destroyed! In all seriousness though, it's pretty bad you can't clean it with a microfiber cloth (without getting scratches, that is)

There is always a chance that you'll get a dead pixel. They seem to have handled it well, though.

As far as I know every VA screen is 8-bit it's one of the advantages of VA panels

Looks so pretty... I won't be buying my new monitor for another 2 weeks so I suppose I'll wait for those 2 reviews on the 24" version I mentioned and if they're good I suppose I'll just pull the trigger ;)

Do you play games by any chance? If so, could you show what it looks like when you play a game?

That U2913WM is made for viewing movies in their native 21:9 screen format. I wonder how that'll work though, because a blu-ray doesn't carry that amount of pixels. On top of that I don't think most GPU's even support those resolutions and most games definitely don't...
