Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The 500r is actually really quiet. I have 10 of those coolermaster led 120mm fans in my case, They're all controlled, but even when I'm at a LAN when it needs to have them all at max, it's pretty damn quiet.
I bought DF1 on steam for 15$ or something I think, and It never worked. It didn't support my resolution, it would crash on start up constantly. I've had 3 systems since i bought it, and it's done random shit like that on all of them, even when we tried it on the wifes laptop, just refused to...
This is exactly what I have, the 500R and an h-100 set up. The case fits just as much as my HAF 932 did, and it's light with a small desk foot print. I picked it up for 99$ cdn, and I couldnt be happier. Well worth it, and a very well built case.
When I ran Surround on my sli set up, as well as 2 monitors before that, I remember that the second and third monitors didn't show anything (no signal) until I was in windows.
First I thought that "how stupid are you to tell them you broke it?" Then I thought, "How the HELL did you spill COFFEE on a videocard!" They shouldn't even be around each other in normal situations, never mind common sense. Did he spill it while he was building THEN pop it in the system...
Is it sticky or just has residue on it. I mean I'd think you could use rubbing alcohol to clean it up and it'll dry quickly. If it's just 20$ it cant be any worse then coffee lol
Not sure where you see this. I currently have 2 EVGA 680s, one is the O.C. edition, and it down-clocks by default to the standard clock settings. Only if I force a sync in the evga tool will they run at the OC cards speed.
The brands don't matter.
As long as the cards are of the same gpu, in your case the 550ti, with the same amount of ram, they're fine. Even clock speeds don't matter, if you where to pair a stock card with an OC version, the OC version will clock down to the lower card. As long as they're both...
Where in Canada are you, I'm in Windsor Ont. and I can tell you I got my 3 no problem, as well as about 5 other people I know getting singles or sli set ups. Also, the shop we all shop at is a small independent run business and he has a few on the shelf even.
I checked my Gigabyte book, I have an Intel board but I figured maybe, there is nothing in there. I did find this site though. http://www.bioscentral.com/ It has lists of beep codes for all bios' maybe you'll have some luck there.
